On Mondays we are open as a cafe with an Amnesty letter-writing session going on during the first shift.

The early shift needs to show up at 6.30 to clean and set things up!

Sign up for "waiter" to serve tea and cake, clean up at the start of first shift and count some money at the end of second shift. There hopefully is someone at every shift who already knows how things work in the cafe, and a list of instructions on the kitchen wall. Still if you have any questions give me a shout!

Sign up for "baker" if you want to bake a cake for the opening in your own kitchen. If you'd like to take part in our Tuesday baking sessions at the Friends Meeting House, better still! Sign up for that. When bringing your cake to the cafe, don't forget a receipt for any ingredients we need to reimburse you for, and a label stating clearly your name, the cake's name, the date, and the cake's ingredients (especially allergy-inducing, non-vegetarian or non-vegan).
