A Transition Initiative is a community working together to look Peak Oil and Climate Change squarely in the eye and address this BIG question:

"for all those aspects of life that this community needs in order to sustain itself and thrive, how do we significantly increase resilience (to mitigate the effects of Peak Oil) and drastically reduce carbon emissions (to mitigate the effects of Climate Change)?"

From 10am to 11pm every Friday the cafe will be run to raise money for the Lesbian Association of India.

Each week the cafe will be transformed, this week we will take you to Mexico with flamenco, vibrant music and spicy Chilli for lunch or dinner.

- decorating (more decorating - this time properly announced and inviting everyone - oops!)

- notice boards, communication and cafe user groups

- freshers' week and training events

- publishing a termcard of events

- ARU freshers' events?

- library, free shop and book swapping

- accounting and money

- more?

Come and talk about these things if you can!
