"Planting Promise" is a Cambridge initiative for self-sustaining, locally led development through education, enterprise and agriculture. In Sierra Leone, the world's poorest country, supporting projects that focus on the possibilities for development from and for the country itself is the way to generate real change and hope. We have opened a primary school bringing invigoration and education to hundreds of people, and we need to raise funds for it until the first harvest of crops we encouraged locals to plant. Come along for lunch from 12-2pm on Monday 17th November for good food, information on how you can make a real impact, and to help us raise funds and awareness.
